Terms & Conditions.

The rules of the deal — booking, payment, cancellation, liability, complaints. Plain English, no hidden clauses. By booking a transfer you agree to these terms.

Who we are

Kings Heathrow Taxi is a owner-operator licensed private hire vehicle service based in Aylesbury, Buckinghamshire. We are licensed by Buckinghamshire Council for private hire operation and the vehicle is licensed for hire and reward with appropriate PHV insurance.

Booking

All journeys must be pre-booked. As a private hire operator we cannot accept hails in the street or walk-up at the airport.

A booking becomes binding once we confirm by email or message. The fare quoted at booking is the fare charged on arrival, subject to peak surcharge rules declared at booking.

Payment

Cancellation

We may cancel a booking if the driver becomes ill or the vehicle is genuinely unable to operate; in that case we'll either arrange a replacement at no extra cost or refund any payment already made.

Flight delays

We track your flight automatically and adjust pickup to your actual landing time. Free wait of 60 minutes from wheels-down. Beyond 60 minutes, £15 per additional hour applies only if you ask the driver to stay. Full delay policy at our delay policy page.

What's included in the fare

What's not included: gratuity (optional), extras you ask for during the journey (extended stops, additional pickups, overnight delays beyond the included wait), and damage to the vehicle caused by passengers.

Passenger conduct

Liability

We carry full hire-and-reward insurance covering passenger injury and personal effects up to the policy limits. Our liability for delay or missed connection is limited to the value of the journey; we are not liable for consequential losses (missed flights, lost cruise sailings, hotel costs) unless the delay is caused by our gross negligence.

We strongly recommend you carry your own travel insurance with appropriate cover for missed-connection scenarios.

Lost property

If you leave something in the vehicle, contact us within 7 days. We hold lost property for 30 days then dispose of it under UK law. Return delivery is at your cost, either through Royal Mail or by collection arranged with us.

Complaints

Email info@kingsheathrowtaxi.co.uk with the booking date and details. We respond within 7 days and aim to resolve within 30 days.

For unresolved complaints, you can escalate to Buckinghamshire Council Licensing (the operator licensing authority) at buckinghamshire.gov.uk.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms occasionally. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the most recent revision. Bookings already confirmed are honoured under the terms in force at the time of booking.
